I work at Sam's Club in West Virginia. I am a customer service representative which most call a cashier. For weeks I've noticed a change in the world but here in Vienna and Parkersburg, WV... Not really any at all. Most people still bring their kids to the store, do not wear mask and looks at those who do (which includes myself) like we are some sort of weirdos. We are in a pandemic, State of Emergency and yet Wood County is still alive and most don't even care. I past by a house on my way home from work and they had at least 20 people and most were children setting outside, laughing and grilling, having the best of time and not caring that the virus lives in the air for up to 3 hours and they or their children could possibly get sick. Ive heard we had 5 to 7 virus confirmed cases here in Wood County but a lot more throughout the state. Nobody really caring.
Wake up people. Stop going to the store unless you need essential items for day to day care. Wear mask which could save your life. And remember the 6 foot rule. I pray for everyone and as the days pass I will be blogging about the MidOhio Valley and how the pandemic is affecting us. Hopefully people wake up and see how serious this really is and stay inside instead of coming to Sam's Club or other stores because they are just "bored." #SendingPrayers
